The Bahamas has some of the best beaches in the world. With the beautiful blue skies and the crystal clear water, it’s not surprising that people flock to the Bahamas for beach relaxation and water fun. I have five great beaches for you to check out in the Bahamas.

Xanadu Beach on Grand Bahama Island is the closest beach to the resorts of Freeport. With nearly a mile of white sand and gentle water, you will have a great time enjoying this beach when you visit Freeport.

Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island is a 2 mile long palm tree lined beach. With many resort hotels nearby, you’ll find that the party atmosphere extends to the beach. It’s also one of the most crowded beaches in the Bahamas.

Pink Sands Beach on Harbour Island is a 3 mile long pink sand beach. The pink sands of the beach contrast well with the numerous small hotels and private villas that form its backdrop. It’s considered one of the best beaches for swimming in the Bahamas.

For a true Bahamas adventure, Tahiti Beach near Hope Town on Elbow Cay Island is a great choice. The beautiful rich water and the white sandy beach is isolated. The only way to get to the beach is to ride a bike or hike along sandy paths that lead out of Hope town, but it’s well worth the extra effort and your adventurous spirit will be rewarded.
